The Respiratory Therapy program is accredited by the Commission on 认证 for Respiratory Care. The Nursing program is approved by the Virginia State Board of Nursing and accredited by the 认证 Commission for Education in Nursing (3390 Peachtree Rd NE Suite 1400, 亚特兰大, GA 30326). The Practical Nursing and Nursing Assistant programs are approved by the Virginia State Board of Nursing. The Emergency Medical Services Technology program is accredited by the Commission on 认证 of Allied Health Education Programs. The Phlebotomy program is approved by the National Phlebotomy Association. The Pharmacy Technician program is in candidate status for accreditation with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Mountain Empire’s Dental Assisting program is recognized by both Virginia and Tennessee Boards of Dentistry. MECC is starting the Commission On Dental 认证 (CODA) review, which is a national recognition honored in all 50 states.
